With so many natural ingredients out there, it can be confusing to know which to select for your skincare routine? We detail some of our favourites for a glowing and radiant complexion!

 

Golden Rosehip Oil – The only oil naturally high in the skin super vitamin A (Retinoic acid) and rich in the anti-oxidant vitamin C. It helps to increase collagen production and stimulate fibroblasts, leading to youthful looking skin. Rosehip seed
oil is also high in the essential fatty acids linoleic acid (omega-6), and linolenic acid (omega-3).

Calendula Oil – Has antiseptic, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties clinical trials have shown it will speed up the natural healing process of blemishes and acne scars. Also widely used to treat eczema and dermatitis.

Jojoba Oil - A natural, gentle and soothing moisturiser similar to the skin’s own oils.
It has antiseptic properties, which help fight infection, keep the pores clear and forms
a protective lipid barrier to help the skin retain its moisture.

Vitamin E - Prevents the formation of wrinkles by blocking and repairing free radical damage. When applied to brown spots on the skin, it helps to lighten and smooth the rough skin by lubricating cell membranes and encouraging cell regeneration. It treats wrinkles by boosting collagen production, a connective tissue that keeps skin elastic. Vitamin E oil also treats wrinkles by supporting new skin cell growth.

Frankincense Essential Oil – Antimicrobial, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and
antiseptic, frankincense tightens skin and makes it appear firmer and helps fade scars and stretchmarks by boosting skin regeneration.

Geranium Essential Oil – one of the best oils for wrinkles, it is a natural cleanser, deodorant and will tighten skin. It is also a powerful cicatrizant so it helps scars and spots on the skin fade and promotes the uniform distribution of melanin.

Lavender Essential Oil – has a calming effect on skin and the brain. It helps balance the skin pH and has natural antibacterial and antiseptic properties.
